In October 2013, the National Assembly for Wales passed new regulations that require a fire sprinkler system to be installed in new and converted houses and flats. Automist Smartscan Hydra was the proffered option over a standard sprinkler system on this new build project. It was chosen because it blended in to the decor, can run off a standard water main and minimises water damage when activated.
Chilman Fire & Security has been working with Plumis, designing, installing, certificating and maintaining Automist systems since 2013. They completed the project with the help of Floor 2 Roof building contractors.
