In 2019, Peter* a senior fire technician at one of the UK’s largest social housing providers chose the Plumis Automist Personal Protection System (PPS) as a safeguarding solution for a vulnerable resident identified as being at risk of fire or causing a fire. The Automist® PPS was activated six times over within the first few months of installation and each time, the system’s misting technology suppressed the fire without additional support. The housing provider has since installed the system in other residents’ homes who have been identified as high risk, to maximise and increase its fire safety measures.
