PLUMIS SHORTLISTED FOR TWO UK MANUFACTURING AWARDS
We’re delighted to have reached the regional finals, South, for this year’s Make UK Manufacturing Awards. We have been shortlisted for ‘SME of the Year’ and ‘Innovation of the Year’ for our ground-breaking Automist fire suppression system.
The annual awards recognise the hard work, dedication and resilience of manufacturers which have done exceptional work. Plumis was formed in 2008, with the aim of creating a more affordable and effective alternative to traditional fire sprinkler systems. Using fire suppression misting technology, our products are easy and cost-effective to install or retrofit and use less water than conventional sprinklers.
Our turnover has more than doubled in the three years to 2019 and, following the launch of our latest firefighting system in 2018, our business grew by almost a third by 2019.

Award winners will be announced at Make UK’s online awards ceremony for the southern region on 20 October 2020. Previous award successes for Plumis include the Red Dot Design Award and the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation.
