Automist suppresses fire to quell arson attempt

Exeter City Council installed Automist from Plumis in the flat of a vulnerable resident who had already set fire to his flat 3 times. The Council needed a reliable solution to the problem because each attempt at arson risked significant damage to property and, more significantly, potential harm to the resident and those around him. In a recent incident the resident went on to attempt arson a fourth time and deliberately damaged the Automist heads. Nevertheless, the units were activated, effectively preventing a serious fire.
