As a Senior Product Mechanical Engineer at Plumis, you will be working on the cusp of innovation and take a key role in developing and validating the mechanical architecture for a new type of fire sprinkler. The role will provide both autonomy and accountability in equal measure allowing the candidate to grow and explore working in a small team of talented and passionate individuals. This is primarily a hands-on development role: we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced mechanical engineer to develop and validate mechanical hardware for fire suppression systems.

Main Responsibilities:
- Prototype design, procurement and testing
- Product release, version control and hand-over to production team
- Product documentation such as FMEA, validation plan, Bill of Materials, Specifications

Essential Experience and Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience working with mechanical development
- Proven experience in product documentation and release
- Proven experience in product validation

Formal Qualifications:
University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar

Beneficial Experience and Skills:
- Knowledge of product standards and certification, LVD, etc.
- Experience with Solidworks or similar highly desirable
- Experience with fire or combustion

We are looking for a motivated marketing manager (full-time or part-time) to take charge of our marketing strategy – planning and executing working with a host of our partners nationwide and even internationally. We are seeking a candidate with a demonstrated track record of work.

What you will be doing
- Planning and executing marketing campaigns – to drive awareness and to drive adoption of the award-winning Automist
- Leading on managing our existing partner relationships and helping our partners to drive customer acquisition
- Event marketing (planning, delivering presentations to stakeholders and events)
- Developing our content marketing strategy, including developing blog posts, online presense, branding
- Analysing results of marketing campaigns to refine our marketing strategy

What we need
- Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite (eg. Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign After Effects, Premier Pro) preferable
- Familiarity with SEO, PPC and/or paid social marketing preferable
- Track record of getting people to ‘buy in’ to new product, service or experience
- Experience of taking a data-driven approach to marketing, measuring results and refining strategy
- Self-starter with ability to think creatively to build brand awareness and win customers

As a embedded systems engineer at Plumis, you will be working on the cusp of innovation and take a key role in designing the backend architecture for a new type of fire sprinkler. The role will provide both autonomy and accountability in equal measure allowing the candidate to grow and explore working in a small team of talented and passionate individuals.

Purpose of Job:
This is primarily a hands-on development role: we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced engineer to design and develop embedded hardware and software for fire suppression systems.

Main Responsibilities:
- Professional hardware design using micro-controllers
- Products release and version control
- Product documentation such as FMEA and validation plan

Essential Experience and Skills:
- At least 3 years of experience working with embedded systems
- Proven experience in digital and analogue circuit design, capture, and PCB layout
- Proven experience in product validation, documentation and release
- Expertise in embedded C development, C++, Python

Formal Qualifications:
University degree in Electronic Engineering or similar

Beneficial Experience and Skills:
- Knowledge of product standards and certification, UL, CE, IEC, FCC etc.
- Experience with Zigbee protocol, RF design
- Experience in Fire detection (desirable but not essential)

We are looking for a talented Full Stack Developer (front and back end) who is passionate about delivering high quality, structured code and looking for a challenging and rewarding position that will give you the opportunity to make your mark on a growing business. You will have a portfolio of sites and apps to manage, both internally and externally facing, that show your ability and ambition to push the boundaries of web build whilst maintaining best practice. You will be commercially aware, and able to liaise with senior stakeholders to discuss the future of the department and the technologies that will be used.
