AUTOMIST WINS GOLD AT EDISON AWARDS

Fire suppression specialist Plumis is celebrating again after winning gold at the 37th Edison Awards in the Products for Home Use category.

Showcasing excellence in human-centred design, engineering and new product and service development, winning an Edison Award is one of the highest accolades a company can receive in the name of innovation and business success.

As excitement builds around Plumis’ upcoming launch into the US market, this latest win for its Automist 13D demonstrates the brilliance and capability of its technology on the world stage.

The system has also been named on the TIME Best Inventions 2023 list and won silver at the New York Product Design Awards in November.

The team have reimagined the traditional fire sprinkler to create a sleek, targeted, wall-mounted alternative that can activate faster and uses ten times less water to tackle domestic fires. 
Blending seamlessly into the design of today's modern homes, Automist 13D can connect directly to the standard water main, eliminating the need for any large tanks.

On the win, Yusuf Muhammad, Co-Founder and Chief Design Officer at Plumis said: “We designed Automist 13D to save more lives from fire and offer the best level of protection for property.
