FIRE SAFETY INNOVATORS BACK LONDON FIRE BRIGADE FOOTBALL TEAM WITH NEW SPONSORSHIP DEAL

FIRE SAFETY INNOVATORS BACK LONDON FIRE BRIGADE FOOTBALL TEAM WITH NEW SPONSORSHIP DEAL

OCTOBER 21ST, 2025

Automist, the award-winning fire suppression system, has been announced as the new sponsor of London Fire Brigade’s Open Age Football Team until 2027.

London Fire Brigade Football Club is the official football club of the London Fire Brigade, uniting serving and retired firefighters through a shared love of the game, while supporting wellbeing, fitness and inter-borough connection across the brigade.

Automist’s logo will now adorn the shirts of the Open Age Emergency Service team for the next two seasons, which represents the fire service in fixtures across London and beyond.

To celebrate the partnership, Plumis Co-Founders Yusuf Muhammad and William Makant were invited to Wembley Fire Station where they were presented with their own team shirt.

Speaking about the sponsorship deal, John Chinnery, Station Officer at London Fire Brigade, said: “We’re proud to welcome Plumis to the London Fire Brigade Football Club.

“Thank you to Yusuf and William for your sponsorship, your support will help grow and achieve our goals on and off the pitch.”

Yusuf Muhammad, Co-Founder and Chief Design Officer at Plumis, said: “With fire suppression systems like Automist, we hope to relieve some of the pressure on emergency services through quick, targeted activation - protecting lives and properties.

“It’s a privilege to sponsor the London Fire Brigade Football Section this season. Sport plays a vital role in supporting the wellbeing and camaraderie of the fire service and we are proud that Automist will also be playing its part in that.”

William Makant, Co-Founder and CEO of Plumis, added: “Automist is inspired by the same mission that drives every member of the fire service - improving fire safety and saving lives.

“We’re excited to support London Fire Brigade Football Section in a different way – on the pitch – and everyone at Plumis will be following their progress closely this season.”

Automist was created by London-based fire protection specialists, Plumis as a smarter, more discreet and effective alternative to traditional fire sprinklers – designed to activate earlier in a fire and use 90% less water, helping to save lives and reduce damage.

This sponsorship deal was brought to life with the support of Kord Sport, which has been instrumental in connecting the London Fire Brigade with organisations committed to supporting the emergency services through sport.
